Field of use

Basamid® can be applied prior to planting or sowing both outdoor crops and crops grown under protective covering. Full area treatment or strip application should be selected depending on the severity of the soil-borne pest or disease problem.

An overview of most popular fields of application to offer crops a better start :

  • OUTDOOR

    All soils intended for cropping:

    • Tree nurseries (sowing and multiplication beds)
    • Flower culture
    • Fruit growing including strawberry (with strip application for ‘planting through’ technique)
    • Vegetable growing (cabbage, carrot, celery, cucumber, leek, lettuce, onion, tomato…)
    • Potato
    • Tobacco seed beds

  • INDOOR

    All soils intended for cropping:

    • Vegetable growing: cucumber, pepper, lettuce, tomato…
    • Ornamentals: carnations, roses…
    • Mushroom growth substrate
